Dapper Dahlias by Moose is based out of Hyde Park, Utah. They have a retail storefront that operates as a regular garden center- though it sounds like the dahlias are a separate deal. This was my first time ordering from them, they offer tubers and rooted cuttings. Previously affiliated with Lyon Park Dahlias also of Utah.

Overall Impression:

I don't enjoy buying rooted dahlia cuttings. For whatever reason, I just strongly prefer tubers. These came in mostly good condition, but it was stressful because we ended up with a freeze in the forecast right after these were shipped. They did come in with a bit of freeze damage, but, nothing that is a permanent issue. Cuttings were packaged individual with a small bag around roots and then wrapped in paper and tucked into a long thin cardboard box. Easy enough to unpack and less plastic, more paper which is always my preference. Foliage is a bit wonky from being in a box and freezing on the edges, but, nothing the cuttings won't grow out of.
