Overall Impression:
I'm happy with my order, I knew going in that these would be small plants and that's what they are. I did order the smallest sizes of each of these and the Salix I ordered cuttings as they are so easy to root. Great place to order if you are already an avid gardener who isn't afraid of tiny baby plants. These are very affordably priced and a good option if you want to increase your varieties without spending a lot of money. They do have a surcharge if you order more than 25 different varieties, so I stayed under that amount. Overall, I feel everything arrived in decent condition despite the jostling it received on the way here. These are lightly rooted plants and were mostly shipped in damp shredded paper wrapped in shrink wrap around the roots and then newspaper around the rest of the plant. There was a bit of wilt, but completely acceptable for size and age of plants.
Photos:
These photos are not great quality, the box arrived late in the day and I could not let these sit overnight for lighting to be more favorable.
Reused Amazon box and newspaper, I'm always a fan of reused materials, no need to use new resources when used ones are available for reuse. This is how most plants were packaged- damp shredded paper around rootball and then a couple wraps of shrinkwrap around that and a plant tag tucked in.
This rootball is one of the smaller ones, most were a bit bigger but not too much bigger.
The whole shipment all potted up.
A few plants came in small pots, possibly 2.5" size but I didn't measure. Not sure why some were potted when most were bareroot, but a few did arrive that way.
